One in every six Americans is a senior citizen. Since 1900, the percentage
of Americans 65 and older has more than tripled and their numbers have
increased tenfold. By the 21st century, the number of seniors will double
yet again. In Cook County, seniors represent slightly more than 10% of the
population. The seniors of Cook County need Todd Stroger. President
Stroger has fought diligently to provide quality health care services to
seniors. Like his father before him, he will continue his efforts to
preserve vital health care services and programs for seniors and the
uninsured.
President Stroger is sensitive and responsive to the needs of the seniors in
Cook County. Due to his efforts, seniors have a FREE Cook County
Prescription Drug Discount Card. We must rally our community behind
President Stroger. Punch 98 on the ballot to show that the seniors of Cook
County appreciate and support President Todd H. Stroger.
